SOFIA House would like to take the opportunity to Thank the many many people that donated time and resources to making this a memorable Holiday season for our families.

Dumur Industries

We wanted to take the opportunity to Thank everyone that donated time and resources to our Thanksgiving dinner. The families were able to come together and share their gratitude moments in a safe and loving way. Because of our great community, we were able to supply the entire meal from your donations. The holiday season is a hard time for our House because Families are apart and children need extra support. Please remember us when thinking about your holiday donations. #welcometoourhouse

The Board of Directors and staff of SOFIA House would like to thank Sarah Valli for her dedication and commitment over the past 7.5 years.

As Executive Director Sarah displayed compassion and understanding as an advocate for domestic violence survivors and became a recognizable face for the organization.  Through the years she created strong awareness of SOFIA House as a community resource and of domestic violence overall.

Sarah will be missed for her passionate leadership in getting us closer to a state where domestic violence no longer exists and shelters are no longer required. The Board of Directors and staff shares the same vision and thank Sarah for giving her time, energy, and focus in this regard.

Sarah’s last day will be Friday February 3, 2017 and we wish her all the best in her new endeavour within the community.

The services offered at SOFIA House are unique as second stage housing provides an opportunity where accesses to resources are available through one agency. Learn more on our resources page.

At SOFIA House we strive to provide comprehensive services to families who have experienced domestic violence. Learn more about us.
